Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates — some of the richest people on earth got there partly by collecting your data. We went the other way. We built Vibbrancy to help people feel better, and we decided early on that the only honest way to do that is to never see what you write. Your entries are yours. Not ours, not advertisers', not data brokers'. When you sync, everything is encrypted with a key that only you own. We can't read it, and we'll go out of our way to make sure nobody else can either. Could we make an extra ten dollars by selling your data? Maybe. But in the long run, how you feel about us matters more than anything your data is worth.
On-device processing
All the clever stuff — pattern spotting, insights, analysis — happens right on your phone. Nothing gets sent to our servers. Your thoughts don't pass through anyone else's hands. We built it this way because your data is yours, and it should stay that way.
Local analysis
Smart pattern detection runs entirely on your device. Mood trends, trigger identification, and insight generation never leave your phone.
No server calls
Your mood data doesn't get uploaded anywhere. If the app crashes, we get a report about what broke — but before it leaves your device, we strip out your identity. The report is just error codes and device type. It doesn't include anything you've written or how you scored your day.
Invisible to us
We have no visibility into your mood data. Not through logs, not through analytics, not through any back door. We don't want to see it — and we've made sure nobody else can either.
Optional cloud sync
Want to sync across devices? Enable end-to-end encrypted backup. We need your email address for login verification on other devices, but your mood data is encrypted so only you can read it. We literally cannot access your entries.
You own the encryption key
Your encryption key is generated on your device and never leaves it. We don't store it, we don't escrow it, we don't have a copy. That means only you can decrypt your data — not us, not anyone else. We don't just stay away from your data; we've built every layer of this app to make sure no one else can reach it either.
Multi-device access
Sign in with your email on another device and your encrypted data syncs over automatically. Same entries, same history, same insights — across your phone, tablet, and browser.
Always optional
Cloud sync is off by default. You have to actively choose to enable it. And if you change your mind, you can turn it off anytime and delete all cloud data permanently.
No ads, no data selling
We're a small, independent team — not a corporation mining your emotions for profit. Big tech companies spend billions figuring out how to collect and monetise your personal information. We spent our time figuring out how to never need it. Our only revenue comes from Premium subscriptions, which means our interests are perfectly aligned with yours: we build something worth paying for, you choose to support us. That's it.
You're the customer, not the product
Most "free" apps make money by selling your attention or your data to advertisers. We don't. Your data is yours — we don't want it, and we've built every layer of this app to make sure no one else can get to it either.
Aligned incentives
When a company's revenue comes from ads, they need your data and your attention. Our revenue comes from building something worth paying for. We don't need to know what you write — we just need to make an app that helps you.
No behavioural trackers
No Facebook pixels, no Google Analytics, no marketing trackers. We do use a crash-reporting tool (Sentry) so we can fix bugs — but it only gets anonymous error data. Before a crash report leaves your phone, we strip your email and user ID. Sentry gets the error, not you.
Transparent pricing
Our pricing is public and straightforward. No hidden fees, no upsells buried in settings, no "premium content" that used to be free. You know exactly what you're getting.
Not like the others
Most apps treat your data as a resource to be collected, packaged, and sold. We built Mood Tracker the opposite way — your data is yours, and we'll do everything we can to keep it that way.
Data export & deletion
Your data is yours. That means you can take it wherever you want — export everything as CSV or JSON anytime. And if you want to leave, delete your account and all cloud data permanently. No dark patterns, no retention tricks. We'd rather lose a user honestly than keep one through guilt.

Permanent deletion
