We care about your data. That's why we don't want it.
Mood entries are stored on your phone by default, and pattern analysis runs on your device. Turn on encryption and your mood entries and health data are encrypted before they sync — we cannot read them. Vibbrancy does not sell mood entries or use them to build an advertising profile.
On-device processing
Pattern spotting, insights, and analysis happen on your phone. Optional account, sync, subscription, diagnostics, and support features are separate and described in the privacy policy.
Local analysis
Supported pattern and insight processing runs on your device. Optional sync, diagnostics, subscription, and support features are described in the privacy policy.
Local by default
Core mood entries stay local unless you choose sync. Diagnostics are configured to exclude mood scores, journal text, email addresses, and user IDs; optional account, billing, support, and sync services are described in the privacy policy.
Scoped collection
Vibbrancy does not use mood entries for advertising or behavioural profiling. Local entries stay on your device by default; connected services collect only the categories described in the privacy policy.
Optional cloud sync
Sync is off until you turn it on. When you enable encryption, your mood entries and health data are encrypted on this device before they sync — Vibbrancy stores only an unreadable blob. You are given a recovery code at setup; keep it safe, because without it a forgotten password means those entries cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

Your device does the analysis
Pattern analysis and note insights run on your phone, not on our servers. Device access, account security, and the configuration shown in your app still matter.
Multi-device access
Sign in on another supported device to use optional sync. Availability and timing depend on connectivity, app version, device support, and your encryption setup.
Optional sync
Cloud sync is off by default and requires your choice to enable it. The in-app and published deletion controls explain how to request removal of remotely stored account data and which legal or security retention exceptions can apply.
We never receive your location
Location makes two features work — comparing your mood with local weather and daylight, and showing the right country's crisis helpline numbers. It stays on your device to do that. We do not receive it and we do not store it.
The app can't even read it
The iOS and Android apps do not request the location permission at all, so there is nothing to grant or revoke. If you want weather features, you choose a city yourself.
It stays on the device
Your chosen location is excluded from account sync, and our servers strip it if an older version of the app sends it — so it cannot end up stored even by accident.
Weather lookups go direct, not through us
When you use weather or daylight features, your device asks the weather and place-name providers directly. Those requests never pass through Vibbrancy, so we never see them. Each provider handles them under its own privacy policy.
No ads, no data selling
Vibbrancy does not show third-party advertising or sell mood entries. The optional Complete subscription supports product development and adds features beyond the Free plan.
You're the customer, not the product
Vibbrancy stores mood entries locally by default and does not use them for advertising. Optional connected services and the data they process are listed in the privacy policy.
Aligned incentives
The optional Complete subscription funds additional features and continued product development without using mood entries for advertising.
No behavioural trackers
No Facebook pixels, Google Analytics, third-party crash-reporting SDKs, or behavioural marketing trackers are included in Vibbrancy.
Transparent pricing
Current prices, billing periods, and any introductory offer are shown by the App Store or Google Play before purchase. Plan details are also available in the app.
Not like the others
Compare Vibbrancy's local-first model with services that rely on advertising profiles. Different products have different policies, so check each provider's current disclosure.
Data export & deletion
Vibbrancy provides export and account-deletion controls. The app and privacy policy explain which data is local, which optional data is remotely stored, and how to request deletion.
Export anytime
Use the app's export controls to make a portable copy of your mood history. Available formats and plan access are shown in your current app version.
Permanent deletion
Use the in-app deletion controls or the published data-deletion page to request removal of optional account data. Legal and security retention exceptions are described in the privacy policy.
No dark patterns
No seven-step cancellation flows. No "are you sure?" guilt trips. No buried settings. The delete button is right where you'd expect it, and it does exactly what it says.
Evaluate privacy for yourself
Use our six-question checklist to compare any mood tracker, including Vibbrancy.
